Endovenous Laser Ablation
Vein conditions can lead to discomfort, pain, and feelings of self-consciousness. At Cosmetic & Veins Clinic, we offer EVA treatment—an advanced, non-surgical solution used to treat varicose and spider veins.
Endovenous Ablation (EVA) offers a cutting-edge, non-invasive method to eliminate problematic varicose veins, freeing you from discomfort and self-consciousness about your legs.
Our treatment works by cauterising the lining of the damaged vein, effectively sealing it off and promoting more efficient blood circulation in your legs.
Performed under local anaesthesia, EVA eliminates the risks associated with general anaesthesia. This “walk in, walk out” procedure allows you to resume your daily activities, including returning to work, on the very same day if you choose.

How Does it Work?
After administering a small dose of local anaesthetic, we insert a radiofrequency fibre into the problematic vein to cauterise and seal it from within. Guided by ultrasound, we accurately position the fibre at the precise location to initiate the treatment. Additional local anaesthetic is applied around the vein to ensure a pain-free experience. As the fibre is gradually retracted, it eradicates the varicose vein. The treated vein immediately seals shut and will naturally be reabsorbed by the body over the next six to twelve months.
Endovenous laser ablation (EVA) often requires supplementary Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy for any remaining varicose veins in the lower legs or thighs, which can also enhance the appearance of spider veins.
The team at Cosmetic & Veins Clinic will assist you throughout this process to ensure you make the most informed decision for your condition.
